To Put Roots FM and The Costa Show back on air!

I am Henry Costa, a talk show host and social justice advocate for the last 8 years from Liberia, West Africa. I am currently studying at Wilmington University, Delaware, from where I run my talk show connecting with my studio in Liberia. I own and operate a radio station in Monrovia, Liberia, called Roots FM 102.7. During ny 8 years of advocacy, I have been wrongfully jailed by the Liberian government, won both cases in court, shot at, attacked in the streets, sued, but I continue speak truth to power. A few weeks ago, three armed men attacked our radio station in Monrovia but were not able to break in and so they left after minimal damage, we managed to come back on air a day later, but this morning, February 11, at 3am, they returned and were successful this time in breaking in and they made away with all our broadcast equipment. The government did nothing the last time. In fact, they are the ones that sent these people to attack us. The first attack happened a day after we exposed the shady deal to bring in 300 fishing boats from Senegal to deplete our fish stocks as they did theirs. We will not stop talking. They cannot win. So I am hereby requesting your generous contribution to help us come back on air to keep fighting for a better Liberia for us all!
I am raising the funds to procure the broadcast equipment that were stolen during the attack on my station on February 11, 2019. I am raising the funds for myself but because I don't have a Social Security Number to withraw the funds, I elected to make Sankay Warner, a good friend and business partner the agent to withdraw the funds. The funds will be spent to buy 2,000 watts FM broadcast transmitter from Italy, a proforma invoice has already been emailed to us upon request, a backup generator for electricity for our radio station due to the fact that we were disconnected, due to government pressure, by our partner who provided us electricity in exchange for running their ads on our radio. My plan is to withdraw all the funds at once in order to begin our restoration efforts.
I turned off the donations once I reached and slightly passed my target of $15,000 because of ethical reasons, eventhough my fans and supporters in the States around the world were still donating to our struggle which they have come to admire and support.
