To raise awareness for MS and help support
As some but not many are aware Alicia has recently been diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis.
Last August 2024 she lost the use of her entire left hand side, scary wasn’t quite the word when she is and has always been a do it yourself girl, nothing was too hard until she was in and out of hospital 4/5 months later after numerous bloods,a lumber puncture (epidural made this so much more bearable) head ct, mri full body both with and without contrast. She currently is restricted in my left hand following this..
She was left wondering whether it was multiple diseases during this time but little did she know until the new year had come around and results were through it was ms.
Emotions ran wild, the support she was and is surrounded by is out if this world. Someone of her age should not face or even have to think about this let alone not know how she can move forward. This disease is incurable as of yet.
Moving forward is scary for Alicia as the thought of a relapse can’t be helped due to common infections or colds. The loss of sight swallow and multiple limbs is a constant thought. What is next?
How can you help?
Raise awareness and support everyone suffering this journey..
