To rebuild the BVI Hindu Mandir

The Sanatan Hindu Mandir B.V.I. is a legally incorporated entity, and a registered Non-Profit religious organization in the British Virgin Islands, which has been established by our generous, committed, and hardworking founding members almost 30 years ago.

Our mission and commitment are to serve the Hindu community in the BVI by promoting the teachings of Sanatan Dharma, and upkeeping the rich culture of our religion, to establish a permanent place of congregational worship and cultural activities. As well as to promote inter-religious harmony and understanding in our communities.

After our Mandir was destroyed by the storms of September 2017, We have been working diligently to raise funds towards rebuilding a structure to accommodate our congregational worship and cultural activities. Through our numerous fundraising drive, assistance from members and various organizations, we have manage to accumulate some funds, however, we are still in need, as the projected estimated cost to erect a building is $700,000 US dollars.

As a non profit organization, we can only achieve this goal with the assistance of generous contribution from members of our community, and kind hearted individual like you, without your help, serving in our community will not be possible, hence we are kindly seeking you help.

Your donation is very important to us, however big or small, it counts, and it would be greatly accepted and appreciated. It will help the continuity of our commitment to serving the Hindu community in the BVI, to ensure Sanatan Dharma is promoted and passed down to our younger generation, and to fulfill the legacy of our founding members.
