Help Manchester Survivors Choir!

We are Manchester Survivors Choir, a group of kids, young people and parents who were all directly affected by the Manchester Arena bombings in 2017 at the Ariana Grande Concert. Formed by survivors, the choir provides peer support for those still coping with loss, physical and mental injury and trauma.
We formed over a year ago and in that time have helped over 100 survivors to cope, spread our message of hope and resilience across the country and raised thousands of pounds for charities, such as Manchester Children's Hospital and The Peace Foundation. Now, we need to raise some money for ourselves!
We have been invited to perform at an international congress for survivors of terrorism, which will take place in Nice, France. The event will see survivors, civil society organisations and politicians from around the world coming together to talk about how the survivors of terrorism can be better supported and to develop community cohesion projects to try to combat terrorism. We will be honoured to represent Manchester and the UK and share our positive story of how survivors, and particularly young people, can create something so positive out of something so tragic. We will be thrilled to perform at this event.
In order to attend, we need to raise £5000 to ensure that all members of our choir, not just those who can afford it, can attend. We do not get any financial support from any public funds, the choir has been set up and funds found by survivors, so we will need to fundraise in order to make this most of this amazing opportunity.
Taking part in something so positive, to share our story and have the confidence to travel to another country to perform will be amazing. The young people in our choir have experienced such traumatic things at such an early age and a trip like this, will help boost their self confidence and make some new precious memories.
Any help, however small, towards our target would be hugely appreciated, thank you for reading our story.
