Hi, My name is Cameron,

I'm here hoping to help raise money to help my best friend since grade 4 and his young family.

It is with great sadness that I have to be writing this, my best friend Blair has been given 6 months because of cancer; he has always been there for anyone when they needed a hand. Now he and his family need a hand.

Blair is a brave and strong man who would never ask for help. Blair has loved the outdoors ever since we were little kids; from camping, fishing, and hunting; he did it all. Blair grew into a great young man who was always looking for his perfect match. Working for Boeing, Blair found his dream girl in Bev. Bev was a manager there, and I remember Blair telling me he would see her every day and try to build up the courage to ask her out. Then, one day, he muscled up the courage and took the plunge and she said yes. Unknowing to Blair, she felt the same way and thought, "If he doesn't ask me out soon, I will ask him." Blair and Bev's relationship became true love. Without hesitation, Blair accepted her son Tai as his own, and the three of them were inseparable. Then the day came; Blair told me he would ask her to marry him. Needless to say, I was filled with joy for him. I had the honor of being his best man and his caterer for the wedding. A couple years late they welcomed into the the world their son Davis, a beautiful bundle of joy.

A few years before their wedding Blair had a kidney removed because of cancer, and his doctors gave him the all-clear sign. A few years after that, Blair was hit with a small piece of cancer on his lymph nods. Blair is never one to get down and took it extremly well. He did his chemo treatments (good thing he didn't have hair, so he didn't have to worry about losing it). He took very well to his treatment and it didn't slow him down. The treatment worked and put it into to remission.

After a year or two I remeber being at a suprise 40th birthday party and Blair was there. His ankle was the size of a softball. He had thought it was a sprain but it was not. The cancer had spread. Not being able to operate and remove it, Blair went back to chemo and on meditcation. It hasn't been more then a year now since that night, and it has sadly spread throughout his body. Blair is still in great spirites putting on his brave face for his wife, childern, family, and friends.

All donations will go towards every day family costs and living exspences as she tries to navigate her family through this. The funds raised here will go a long way for his wife and kids to help with bills. At 32, and a single mother of two, it's going to be very hard on Bev and the childern. Hopefully they can also take one last little family outing as well.
