Hello,

I am Kay Ratnayake, a US citizen living in Sri Lanka and trying to help people with the current economic downfall the best I can.

This is a very difficult time in Sri Lanka with shortages of food, gasoline, medicine, and cooking gas. Nationwide power cuts at least twice a day impacting businesses and institutions. Most businesses have closed down resulting in unemployment for many people. Communities are suffering!

I decided to engage in an agricultural project to give the community employment opportunities, and to produce vegetables and spices to support them with food shortages. I found a land in a rural area suitable for the project.

The people living in this area are mostly underprivileged and are negatively impacted from the current humanitarian crisis.

My project will be a great help for our community here which is in much need of help!

We have a team willing to work to make this project successful.
