To support Art Molina in his fight with cancer

Hi there. This is Mark and Tammy Flores. Great friends to Art and Lena. We have set -up the “GoFundMe” for Art and Lena to give them some financial support so he can concentrate on his battle with cancer.

We would all appreciate it so much, if you can donate. We understand if you can’t. All funds will be given directly to Art and Lena to help cover some of their expenses that they will be incurring during this difficult battle.

Art was diagnosed with cancer on 9/24. Today, Oct 26, he received the specific diagnosis of Undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma (UPS). This is a rare and aggressive cancer that requires aggressive treatment at University of Washington in Seattle. His Radiation Oncologist has ordered 5 weeks of daily radiation; his surgical oncologist has ordered surgery following the conclusion of the radiation therapy. Surgery includes removing a tendon in his hand and sectioning off the margins of the original tumor. A plastic surgeon will place a skin graft over the surgical area for healing. This will take place approximately 2-3 weeks after the end of radiation treatment ends (beginning of January).

He and his wife will need to relocate to Seattle for 5-6 weeks beginning on 11/8/2021.
