To support my best friend and his family

Hello everyone, my name is Tim.

 

First and foremost, thank you for clicking to read my story.

 

The past two years have been tough for us all, and many things have changed along the way.

One thing that has affected me more than anything is my best friend of over 20 years being diagnosed with ampullary cancer. 

Unfortunately, he was originally misdiagnosed which means the cancer has gone untreated for some time, leading now to a terminal diagnosis.

 

My best friend and his partner have recently had a beautiful baby girl who is now nearly three months old!

My heart breaks to think that he will not get to do all the important things Dads do with their little girls. Of course, we are hopeful that treatment will hold the cancer at bay and that he has many years to spend with them. These are uncertain times. 

 

I have created this Go Fund Me page to hopefully alleviate some of the pressure for him and his new family.

Unfortunately, the bills and incidentals do not stop needing to be paid when you're ill. They are also looking for second opinions and alternative treatments outside of the NHS which can be quite costly.

It is with a heavy heart that I have to add these words to my story. But alternative treatments are no longer an option. So all funds will be going to Charlie’s wife, Sam Crawford and daughter, Nellie Crawford.

I am trying to raise funds to help them however I can for as long as possible.

 

For those of you who know me, you know I love my hair!

The image below was taken yesterday 07/03/2022 and I will shave my head 20/05/2022.

I hope to raise as much as possible to provide some stability for his family, so anything you can spare will help in more ways than you know.

 

 

I will try and get a video of me shaving it and post it here. If not, you will see the aftermath!

 

I will be transferring all donations into my own account and then sending them across to Sam via bank transfer.
