To the 3 people who lost their life in a car wreck

Hey, my name is Moo Kae Htoo. This fundraiser is going towards helping the three families who lost loved ones in the car accident last Tuesday May 28. Their names are Thai Lei Htoo, Saw Yo Ah and Gler Taw. 

Saw was like family to me and my relatives. The rest of them were my friends. This wreck happened in a small town outside of Athens Georgia, called Comer. To be exact this happened between Madico drive on Ga. Highway 172 and the Paoli Junction intersection. Gler Thaw, who is my friend, left behind his 9 month old daughter, wife Paw Hey, and parents. The other two, Saw and Thai, were both beloved sons, brothers, and friends to many in the community. 

The Comer Karen community is very close, and the community is reeling. Thai Lei Htoo just graduated last Friday May 24, and was just beginning his new future. They’re all followers of our lord and savior Jesus Christ. Now they watching us from heaven grieving. 

Again, the money from this fundraiser is going towards the expenses for the funerals for our dear friends. The funeral is currently scheduled for this Saturday June 8, at 2pm at the Vesta Karen Baptist Church (929 Arnold Caldwell Road in Oglethorpe County). Once the fundraiser is finished, I will be making the payment directly to Mack’s Funeral Home. I will post an update once the funds have been transferred to the funeral home. The payment will be made by me, Moo Kae, on behalf of the beneficiaries: Saw’s parents Aye Nway and Ni Thaw, Gler Taw’s wife Paw Hey, and Thai Htoo’s parents Christina Say and Hae Na.
