To the mother to us all

Update:
I've been trying to update everyone for sometime now but every time I go to edit this page something new happens. We've been on quite the journey since my mother's surgery and things have not really gone according to plan. She was really struggling with pain after surgery for weeks and we couldn't figure out why she was not healing. We were suppose to start preventitive chemo because after the surgery they said everything looked promising and they thought they got it all. After a pet scan was done we found out that her cancer is in her lungs, hip bone, and lymph nodes. This was a lot to process because we thought we were moving in the other direction. After finding this news out she was admitted to the hospital for collotis, she was there for a week and is home now. Doctors are saying that the cancer can't be completely killed at this point but it still would be beneficial to combat it from growing any further.
She's struggling with fatigue, weakness and eating properly right now so we will work on all of those things in the coming days and hopefully she will be ready to start chemo. It is stage four, bladder cancer is what they are calling it.Thank you all once again for your love and support. She may not be in a place to respond right now but your texts and calls mean so much to her.

It takes a village, I have never related to a statement more until I became an adult and mother. I've been beyond blessed to have received the beautiful people in my village. So now I am reaching out to my village and my friends and families villages for some extra love and support for my mother. This is to everyone that we've met along the way that we don't see any more but we were hanging out at some point in this crazy life laughing and showing love, making memories. Anyone that knows my mother knows the compassionate bright soul she is. She was always the mother to all of mine and my sisters friends, taking in anyone she needed to. Anyone that needed a safe, judgement free, peaceful place to rest their heads. She can make you laugh in any sad situation and is usually dancing or has some insane thing coming out of her mouth at any giving time. Well this beautiful person has been sick and long story short we found out yesterday it's cancer, urothelial carcinoma . Everything has moved very quickly and she is having surgery tomorrow to have her kidney and urethra removed, part of her bladder and they will also be checking for any spreading. So even though we have answers we are still in the dark. She has already missed a month of work and they are saying recovery from this surgery will be 6-8 weeks. Her and my father are the sole caregivers for my nephews since my sister's passing in 2019 and medical bills are starting to pop up. So I'm here reaching out to our extended village for some help. I would love for her to come home and focus on healing and not stress about money at all. If times are tough and you are not able to donate please send her some love, good vibes, prayers, well wishes anything that you think will help lift her spirits.
Thank you all so much
So much love from our family to you.
