Over the span of 14 years of marriage, Alan and Cheryl have been on a roller coaster ride. It has never come to a full stop; and for the most part it has been full throttle as they have been slung around while life has thrown them many curves, hills, loops, bumps and bruises along the way. Many times, they have been side by side during the best parts of their marriage, holding on tight in the loops that seem to be coming to an end and just as they catch their breath a short reprieve sets in before it all starts over. Alan and Cheryl have shared very difficult and different journeys that most of us will never experience, much less comprehend. Each one has battled, fought, and overcome many medical, personal, and family trials and tribulations. All while keeping smiles on their faces and never letting anyone really know about the chronic illnesses, circumstances and heartache that they have hidden for years. Alan and Cheryl have been too proud to ever ask for help. It is not their style, never has been, but that’s where I come in.

Today, it is my turn to ask for help on their behalf. Alan and Cheryl are in desperate need of financial help because of the medical issues that have left them where neither of them are able to work. Many of you may know that Cheryl has not been able to work for quite some time because of her immune deficiency and need for a hip replacement. Alan was recently diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder that is creating havoc in his body, Inflammation is causing overgrowth of tissues throughout several organ systems in his body, One of which is his spine, Today he came home from having emergency surgery due to loss of feeling in his left arm, hand, fingers. His right hand and finger tips have begun to lose sensation, as well. He is in severe pain and has been unable to work for quite some time.

   Simply put, Alan and Cheryl are out of money to cover their expenses. If you at anytime have ever had a smile cross your face, a laugh so hard it hurt, a story pop into your head just because you have been around both or either one of these amazing and selfless friends, help me, help them.
