Todd Bathje's Stroke Fund

Hi, my name is Max Bathje. My mom, Laura Florentino, and I are setting up this Go Fund Me for my dad. On February 16th my dad was found unresponsive at his home and rushed to the hospital by ambulance. Sadly, he suffered a massive stroke and has been in ICU since then. What we know at this time is that Todd is currently paralyzed on his entire left side, can not open his eyes, is intubated, and had to have an emergency surgery to save his life that removed a large portion of his skull due to the brain swelling. We are still not in the clear of Todd surviving this, but we will know more each day. The MRI revealed he had a large blood clot in his heart that caused the stroke and unfortunately, he is not able to be put on blood thinners at this time as they could cause a lethal bleed out. With that said, he remains at very high risk for having another stroke as they can not do surgery to remove the clot because of the severity of his current condition. We will share more information as we get it each day.

We are setting up this Go Fund Me to help pay for Todd's personal and medical expenses.  We greatly appreciate anything financially that you are able to do to help my Dad. This is a very difficult time for us and we would appreciate your prayers over anything.
