Todd Dinges Family Fund #TEAMDINGES

On Dec. 14th, 2022, Todd went to the ER due to shortness of breath and pain in his chest. After all cardiac labs were normal a Dr. ordered a contrast dye CT scan. The results of the CT scan showed what doctors were certain was lung cancer with a large mass in his upper right lobe wrapped around his pulmonary artery . The mass is restricting blood flow which is why he has felt lightheaded and shortness of breath for about a month prior.

On December 28th, two weeks after the ER visit they received confirmation that Todd does have Stage IV metastatic non-small cell lung cancer. It has metastasized to his front right lobe in the brain and bones around his hips.

He is now receiving treatment of radiation and will begin Chemo to slow the cancer growth and manage symptoms. He will be receiving care via the University of Kansas Medical Center and MD Anderson. This requires hours at doctor's appointments, and unexpected travel expenses to MD Anderson in Houston, Texas.

Todd and Sam have two grown children, and a 10-year-old son, Hayden of the home. Todd is just 47 years old and has not worked since diagnosis, but receives short-term disability but is only partial pay. This actually will end in 5 short months. Then, Todd and the family will go on Cobra which is very expensive.

This fund is to help Todd in the fight of his life and to help the family financially with all expenses associated with fighting cancer and declining income. Any donation will go directly to the Todd and Sam Dinges, and is greatly appreciated.
