Todd Reese and his girls could use your help!

Hello all-

My sister and I never pictured we’d be on here making one of these we’ve never been ones to ask for any sort of “handout” and when we mentioned the word “Gofund me” to our older brother, Todd, he immediately said “oh no way I don’t want to do anything like that” but as days go by his exhaustion and worry is well noticed by all who seemingly know and love him as the “tough funny guy”. So let us get to the point of this GoFundme. Todd’s wife, Marty, was placed on hospice at home last Friday 6/30/23 for stage 4 heart and liver failure and this morning 7/3/23 @ 8:54am she passed peacefully. Todd and Marty have 3 young girls, Allisynn, 17, Annabelle, 14, and Emmie, 9. Todd is probably the strongest person we know but he is absolutely exhausted, mentally and physically. We can hear it in his voice, see it in his face, and read it through his messages. His work does offer bereavement but it’s only 40hrs, which I’m sure we’ll all agree just isn’t enough time for him and his girls to process the loss of his wife/their mother. Any other time he will need to take will will be taken as FMLA unpaid. So we have decided to step in and try to help, our goal is to raise enough money to offset the financial strain that Todd will face since he is the sole provider, giving him time to grieve, cope, and find a new normal after watching something no husband or child should see at such a young age and without the worry of rushing back to work and possibly maybe raise enough for him and the girls to maybe take a small trip because this was the furthest thing from their minds when they started their summer and it’s definitely not how any child should end it. We understand times are hard for everyone so if you are unable to give if you could just share and pray for Todd and our beautiful nieces.
