Todd White, our friend, and beloved father to Tiana.

As most of you know at this point, our dear friend, Todd White, loving and devoted father to Tiana, unexpectedly passed away this past Saturday, November 16th. Todd’s life was dedicated to the fulfillment of Tiana’s happiness and success, and now, as his friends and loved ones, it is our honor to do our very best to fill a void that Todd leaves behind.

Todd’s loving character and his warm presence will be missed. We know him as Weezie, TW, T-Bone, and several other nicknames that could never quite fulfill his larger-than-life presence which touched so many. His humble, reserved, genuine, and kind-natured ways were inspirational. I’m tearing up now just thinking about him standing there, nervously wringing his hands, and filling the room with his infectious laugh as we share stories and jokes. It's safe to say we all have a Todd White quote that will always bring a smile to our face and I'm sure we'll share in those for years to come. The sight of his joy and sound of his laugh will remain in my memory and heart forever. I know the same is true for Tiana and all of you.

Todd was a big, warm light everywhere he went and in every room he entered. He never had an angle. Never had any malicious intent. I can honestly say that I don’t ever recall him speaking an ill word of anyone. It’s remarkable when you think about it. How many of us can say that? Truly, the man just wanted to be loved. Now, more than ever, it’s time for us to show his love to Tiana – the same love, grace, and generosity that Todd gave to us from the day we met him until his last days here with us. A quick breeze through our text thread or Todd’s Facebook tells you what he was all about. It’s no secret. It was his beloved daughter, Tiana. She was his everything. Training her. Motivating her. Guiding her. Attending her practices and games. Giving her the fatherly guidance that any child would be blessed to have.

That trust will ensure that Tiana’s soccer, extracurriculars, and school needs are financially cared for and invested so that Tiana will have a safety net that will go directly to her when she is in need.
