Life Changing Shoulder Surgery

Please give what you can to help us collect funds for a life changing shoulder surgery of a loving dad, supportive son, and friend who is always there for you. Todd has been suffering for 2½ years from a debilitating injury now in need of immediate repair.
On January 16th, Todd Herzog, the loving single father of Avery, 6 and Corbin, 12 and supportive son to parents Frank and Linda, underwent a long-overdue shoulder surgery. We humbly ask for your financial support in helping pay for this life changing surgery that repaired a painful injury that occurred over 2½ years ago. Prior to this, Todd had already undergone several shoulder surgeries which proved to be no more than a Band-Aid.
He recently discovered Dr. Stephen Burkhart, an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in the complex arthroscopic repair of shoulder disorders and injuries. We are thankful Dr. Burkhart agreed to take on Todd’s case as we discovered (through Todd's many MRIs and other costly doctor visits) is one of only two doctors in the nation able to undertake the reconstructive surgery Todd needed. Details of his injury include a massive reoccurring rotator cuff tear, cartilage fissures, spurs, and torn tendons & ligaments which must be replaced with cadaver parts.
Most people in his condition would have been laid up in bed, but Todd continued to go to work every day as well as take care of himself and his family the best he can, all with a smile. His job is physically demanding, so he will not be able to do the same work for the recovery time of one-year post-op, but we are thankful they have agreed to keep him on, giving him office work while he heals.
We are blessed by so many wonderful people, however, even with insurance, his cost for the surgery is $15,000. Please give what you can so Todd can pay for the surgery and move on with his life as quickly as possible. Thank you for your time and consideration! God bless.
