Todo family funeral support

Soloman Todo, Alice Todo, Lucy Todo, Eunice Todo, Foni Todo, and Regina Malia

Many of us are fortunate that we will never experience war and the devastation it brings. Most of our families are in safe places and generally live a life of moderate stress. Some of us are living in this amazing country with loved ones living abroad that face uncertainty and challenges every day. The names above are aunts and grandparents that we lost to violence in May and June. Uncle Soloman and Aunt Alice were killed during a raid in Al Qadarif and are leaving behind 4 children that were away at boarding school during the raid. My Aunts Lucy and Eunice and Grandmother Regina were met with untimely deaths while traveling to Uganda for safety. My elder cousin Regina Foni lost her left eye in the attack but thank the Lord, not her life. She has since been relocated to Kampala, Uganda.

I was hesitant to publicize my family's struggles and the pride in me resisted asking for help. I've spoken with some people and the support and care we are receiving is unbelievable. Family is a collection of stories. I hope to share this with our associates to raise funds to help us bury our dead. All of Sudan is suffering and many in our Sudanese communities are suffering similar losses. Please keep us in your prayers and support if you can. The goal is $20,000. We plan to convert it into Ugandan Chilling as this would go much further.
