With £2000, we can create a website and make the training available in replay everywhere, all the time.
Who are we?
The collective togetHER aim to end sexism and sexual violence.
We are inclusive. We welcome everyone, regardless of their gender, sexuality, class, race, experience... We believe sexism and sexual violence can affect everyone and we would all benefit from a society free from prejudice and discrimination.
We are non violent. We create a safe and kind space. Our actions are non violent and we protect our members from violence.
We are non political. We are not affiliated to any political party.
What is this training?
The aim of the training is to give key information to understand, recognise and address sexism and sexual violence, so we can end it together.
It teaches how to identify violence, what are the different types of sexism and sexual violence and how the law names them. It explains how to protect people by identifying violence and learning what to say to a victim.
It’s a mix of theoretical concepts, practical tools, and engaging exercises.
The training is free – It has been created by volunteers qualified in psychology, law, teaching, marketing, media, charity management and more… It was prepared in partnership with the collective Nous Toutes which trained over 110,000 people in France.
The training is open to all – It is intended for everyone looking to understand and deconstruct gender-biases and gender-based violence, bystanders as well as victims.
The training is safe – It creates a kind space where we can talk about a difficult topic without sharing personal testimonies to preserve everyone’s mental health.
