Together for Aweys: Building a Free School in Africa
Donation protected
I am the son of Aweys Munye, a man who believed deeply in the power of education. My father spent his life giving to others—whether through his wisdom, his work, or his unwavering belief in the potential of every child. He never sought recognition, but his legacy is one of kindness, sacrifice, and a deep commitment to lifting others up.
In honor of his life and legacy, I am raising funds to build a free school in Africa. This school will provide children from underserved communities the chance to learn, grow, and dream—opportunities they might not otherwise have.
Education, for my father, was not just a right—it was a way to empower and transform lives. And it is with that same belief that I am creating this space for the children of Africa.
Why This Matters
This project is about hope. In many parts of Africa, children still don’t have access to basic education. I want to change that. The school will serve as a foundation, where children can begin to unlock their full potential. This isn’t just a building—it’s a place where futures will be shaped, where dreams can be realized.
By contributing to this project, you’re not just donating; you’re becoming part of something lasting. Each desk engraved with a donor's name will serve as a testament to your commitment to these children’s futures. You are not just supporting a school—you are helping build a legacy that will impact generations to come.
How Funds Will Be Used
The funds raised will go directly to the construction of the school, purchasing desks, chairs, learning materials, and teachers’ salaries for the first year.
We will also be installing basic sanitation and water facilities to ensure the children have access to clean water and a safe, healthy learning environment.
I am personally covering a significant portion of the costs, but I want you to be part of this journey with me.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will play a key role in making this vision a reality.
Together, we can create a place of learning that
will not only honor my father’s memory but also change the lives of children in Africa for years to come.
Thank you for being part of this important cause. Your support is not just a donation—it’s a step toward a brighter future for so many.
