Together for Cynthia and Romeo's Fresh Start

Hello, I am Erin Maccarelli and live in western NC. I, along with other co-workers and friends wanted to start this fundraiser for someone that is so amazing. Cynthia Gonzalez and her son Romeo lost their home located in western NC during hurricane Helene. Cynthia works two jobs to support herself and her son. She was able to save money and purchase her home only 5 months ago. Trees fell through her house during Helene. Cynthia and Romeo ran from their home with only the clothes on their back when the first tree fell through Romeo's bedroom. Insurance provided her enough support to pay off her loan, but this left Cynthia and Romeo with only their land. Please help support this wonderful family. The funds raised with this GoFundMe will aid in removing the trees that fell on Cynthia's property, removing their unlivable home, purchasing a new home, and the essentials that they lost inside their home. We are so relieved that Cynthia and Romeo are safe, but they lost everything. Thank you so much for your support!
