Together for Peer

It is with a heavy heart we bring this request of support to you. Some of you already know but our friend Peer Christensen has been diagnosed with type 4 Glioblastoma and needs our help.

Peer and Lori have been strong ambassadors of Peterborough for nearly 40 years now since they opened their first gallery and frame shop at the Williamson house on Dublin St. Through countless art openings at their 3 locations since, and a dependable quality framing business, they have always championed the local arts scene and been vocal supporters of our downtown.

Now, as Peer recovers from surgery and receives treatment to try and slow this cancer, the Christensens had to make a hard decision to close their business and focus on their family and time together.

Peer and Lori will need to be in Kingston for weeks at a time to receive chemo and radiation treatments. We are appealing to the community to raise funds to cover their costs of accommodation during their stays there.

We want them to be able to focus on the battles ahead, and not have to worry about the cost involved in travelling to work with the amazing team of doctors they have at the Queens Hospital Brain Tumor Program.
