Together for Ron: A Community of Kindness
Donation protected
We are reaching out to the community asking to form a circle of support around a wonderful neighbor, friend & family member. On Friday, September 13, Ron Couch suffered a stroke as he was getting ready to drive home from work. Many of you know Ron’s wife, Gina Couch, from the amazing sewing services she has offered right in Wyoming. And if you live near him or have ever known him, you know that Ron would be the first to knock on your door and welcome you to the neighborhood, would move a package to a safe place if he saw it left by a delivery driver who didn’t care as much as he did, would offer a friendly beep driving past you, and always a wave, a smile, and kind words when you’d see each other day-to-day. Ron and Gina bring so much kindness to Wyoming and any lives they touch. Will you help us show them how much kindness can be shown back to them from Wyoming and beyond?
Ron is working hard on rehabilitation therapies after the stroke affected much of his right side and he is determined to come back strong. As they navigate a shift in income with an undetermined amount of time away from Ron’s job and reduced hours for Gina, Ron will need to continue many rehabilitative therapies, and they will be pursuing some home modifications as well as home health care services.
Local neighbors & family have been rallying around them giving hands-on help with care and home adjustments, but in this time of crisis, we know that financial concerns will be one more added worry. Any amount will be appreciated but we are asking you to help reach a starting goal of $15,000 to ease these concerns for them. Thank you for supporting and encouraging Ron and Gina during this time of healing.
