Together for Sara Nukina
Donation protected
We are reaching out to all and in particular to those within the Wadokai World to come together in helping to raise much needed funds for treatment of 15 year old, Sara Nukina.
Many of our JKF Wadokai Members will know Sara’s Father, Nukina Nobuyuki. Nukina Sensei, who was born in Japan, is the Chief Instructor of Romanian Wadokai and professional advisor to the Japan All-Karate National Team who is very much liked and well respected for his teachings throughout Europe.
Sara is the eldest daughter of Nukina Sensei and has grown up in the karate world following her Father around the globe competing.
For almost a month, Sara has been having headaches, vomiting and vision impairments with her right eye. Following MRI investigations, the family were given the devastating news she had developed a Grade 3 Glioblastoma on the brain.
Unfortunately, there is limited treatment for Sara in Romania and the Romanian specialists openly suggested the family seeks urgent treatment abroad. Several options are currently being considered in moving to a clinic either in Vienna, Freiburg or Japan.
As with most families, the option of such treatments abroad requires funds that are simply not affordable to a family.
To all our Wadokai Members & Friends, Sara and the Nukina Family need your help to fund this fight. They have their biggest fight ahead and need you to fight with them…your generosity, love & support will mean so much to them through this difficult time x
