Together for Trace: Easing the Burden of His Rare Condition

Trace was born with an incredibly rare and terminal genetic condition, with most affected children not surviving past eight months. Trace just turned six months old and faces daily challenges, including seizures lasting up to two hours due to the brain damage caused by his condition. He has no muscle tone, meaning he can't move his arms or legs, sit up, or swallow. He relies on a feeding tube and requires 100% oxygen, as his brain does not signal him to breathe on his own.

While insurance has been a blessing in covering many expenses, the medication Trace needs to stop his seizures after they last over an hour is only covered for two doses a month. Unfortunately, Trace needs this medication every 12 hours, and at $230 for just two doses, the costs are overwhelming.

We are raising money to help cover the costs of Trace's medication and ease the financial burden on his parents, Sam and Will. Will works hard to provide for his family while balancing the emotional weight of caring for Trace. We hope to give them the gift of time--time to focus on being with Trace without the constant worry of mounting medical and living expenses.
