Together lets re-open Camp Vincent

Camp Vincent is a camp for all children of all Faiths, including the underprivileged. It has a long legacy and will soon celebrate, with your help, 50 years of hope, happiness, skill-building and fun for thousands of children. Sadly, Camp Vincent, located on the beautiful shore of the Thames River, in South Western Ontario, Chatham-Kent, is under review; it may have to close its doors on the 67 acres of beautiful, pristine, environmentally precious land. A lack of funds threatens to close the camp for good. A combination of Covid, infrastructure problems and a shortage of funds have put a pause on delivering an unforgettable camp experience. Our children live in a world of social pressures, social media and misinformation. Never have our kids needed the joy and healing power of an outdoor camp more than today!

Cooks, counsellors, maintenance and administration cost money to run a successful camp. Monies will immediately be used, with your help, to fix the swimming pool, redo the water system to provide drinkable, clean water and rejuvenate a long, neglected canoe pond needing yearly maintenance. Our kids are worth it ( - the cost is never too much to raise healthy well-balanced children who value themselves, each other, and their world). Children need to have fun, relax, build skills and get in touch with the freedom and peace of the natural world. Camp Vincent promotes independence, self-reliance and good values.

Together we are working to revive and continue the legacy of excellence that this outdoor/overnight camp enjoys. Please help us!

We hope to raise $125,000 to jump-start our camp which has been closed since Covid. Your donation of $5, $10, $20, $50, $100 or more will help us help our children and save Camp Vincent. No amount is too little or too great. All children need a safe and happy place to have fun and grow.
