Together Rebuild Our Community After Hurricane Helene
Help Us Continue Healing, Creating Community Stability and Rebuilding After Hurricane Helene
My name is Renee Prince and I am an herbalist, community advocate and traditional healer. I have an herbal school, Four Elements School of Traditional Medicine and I live in Asheville North Carolina and in Saint Petersburg Florida.
I have to start out by letting you all know, because of our reporting efforts having to do with the affected communities, that all of our personal and business accounts on social media have been hacked. Because of this we look as if we are a very new organization, in fact we have been a school and in service for, in some respect, 30 years. Please contact us for any references or questions you may have about this situation or our community standing.
For more than five decades, my family and I have devoted our lives to serving others. From operating food pantries and street medic units to offering disaster relief, education, and protest care, we’ve always believed that true community is built on compassion and action. This commitment has been passed down through generations, shaping our family into a steadfast force for support in times of need. I am a clinical herbalist and traditional healer, and I’ve seen time and again that lasting change doesn’t come from large institutions but from the tireless efforts and generosity of individuals working together.
Our Response to Hurricane Helene
When Hurricane Helene devastated our region, it left countless people, including us, struggling to rebuild their lives. In response, we immediately mobilized to bring relief, rescue, and recovery to the hardest-hit areas. Alongside a small yet determined team, we’ve worked around the clock to:
• Deliver critical supplies like food, water, and medical items to remote, nearly inaccessible areas.
• Provide physical and emotional support to first responders who have been tirelessly aiding others.
• Offer free herbal medic care and PTSD trauma support to survivors facing immense emotional strain.
• Educate and train new volunteers to expand the reach and effectiveness of our relief efforts.
• Assist in rebuilding homes and community structures to help families return to a sense of normalcy.
Despite our determination, this work is exhausting and resource-intensive. We cannot continue without your help.
How You Can Make a Difference
We are seeking to raise funds to, and our immediate needs are:
This is the most immediate need ($4,000)
• Purchase a reliable used vehicle to navigate the treacherous, off-road areas where help is most needed and to cover the many miles in a continuation to distribute supplies and support.
• Cover essential expenses like fuel costs, vehicle maintenance, and missed wages to keep our team in the field.
• Continue providing free trauma care and herbal medic services to survivors and responders.
• Train and equip more volunteers in trauma recovery and ceremonial support to sustain long-term healing.
Our Funding Goal
Our immediate goal is $10,000, but with an ideal target of $25,000, we can fully fund these initiatives through the year ahead. Every dollar donated will directly support these efforts, ensuring we can continue to make a tangible difference.
