Together, we can help end poverty in the Philippines.

Hello everyone! My name is Bunni Quinlan and I am a sophomore attending the University of Central Florida. I have the privilege of being involved with our amazing Asian community on campus and we have the opportunity to work with the non-profit organization Gawad Kalinga (GK), raising money to fight poverty in the Philippines.

GK fights this issue by taking on projects such as building new high-quality homes & communities, providing fresh clean water, pursuing child & youth development, and more. They cover all 3 regions of the Philippines, providing support and outreach to every possible community. They partner with big companies to make a difference, such as Coca-Cola to provide clean drinking water and Potato Corner’s partnership with GK’s SEED Program.

Community is a huge value in my life, so I'm honored to be able to get involved with this amazing movement. I hope you continue to be inspired by the compassion and empathy of others.
