OUR HOPE:

To return our gratitude to the poor farmworkers, who put food on our tables. This is year 4, thank you for all those that helped in years past! We could not have done it without your compassionate care. We have helped feed and clothe +100 poor migrant farm worker families in the Monterey, CA area (Soledad, Salinas and King City) with the generous donations of many. Winter is a time they have little work, and the struggle is great as no work = no food and essentials are greatly needed. Our humble friends are often forgotten and we hope to ease their pain. In the dollars they would have spent having to buy these items, we hope they can use it to pay their bills, rent, medical expenses and care for their loved ones.

WHAT DO WE DO:

We collect donations two months before December 5th as we hope to bring joy to our friends on December 9, 2023. We partner with families in the Los Gatos/Bay area to organize and deliver the donations in a U-Haul truck and many cars to the Monterey/Salinas/King City communities that are struggling the most. Last two years we met very kind men, women, and children in front of their humble homes in the farming area (this year, we hope to use a church hall so everyone will not be so cold) and distribute according to their needs. THEY ARE IN NEED. They are always extremely grateful for your help. Last year we gave it all away!
