Me llamo Yuleivis Margarita Saracual Reyes, venezolana de treinta y seis (36) años y madre de Samuel Jesús Palma Saracual, un niño de ocho años de edad. My name is Yuleivis Margarita Saracual Reyes, a thirty-six (36) year old Venezuelan mother of Samuel Jesús Palma Saracual, an eight-year-old boy.
Mi lucha con la M.A.V. (Malformación Arterio Venosa), comenzó el día 12-02-2020, estando en mi lugar de trabajo ubicado en Caracas-Venezuela, me inició un fuerte dolor de cabeza en conjunto con otros síntomas perdiendo el conocimiento. El resultado? Desperté casi seis (6) horas después en la “Clínica Santiago de León”, centro asistencial de salud al cual fui trasladada con la ayuda de muchas personas para recibir atención médica. My fight with the M.A.V. (Arterio Venosa Malformation), started on 02-02-2020, being in my workplace located in Caracas-Venezuela, I started a severe headache along with other symptoms losing consciousness. The result? I woke up almost six (6) hours later in the "Santiago de León Clinic", a health care center to which I was transferred with the help of many people to receive medical attention
La M.A.V. me causó un derrame sanguíneo cerebral y edema, el cual afectó mi área de lenguaje, gracias a Dios sólo afectó está área.The M.A.V. It caused a cerebral blood flow and edema, which affected my language area, thank God it only affected this area.
Estuve cuatro (4) días de hospitalización. Al parar el sangrado y ceder el edema, me dan de alta y me indican tratamientio médico por dos (2) meses, basado en Nimodipina y Somazina para lograr la disminución del edema. I was four (4) days of hospitalization. Upon stopping the bleeding and releasing the edema, I was discharged and indicated medical treatment for two (2) months, based on Nimodipine and Somazina to achieve a decrease in the edema.
Luego de dos (2) meses me indican que debo realizarme un estudio, pero por motivos de la situación mundial (la pandemia del COVID-19) se realizó a finales del mes de Mayo, también motivados por los fuertes dolores de cabeza, confirmando el doctor que es una M.A.V. (Malformación Arterio Venosa) clasificable como Spetzler Martin II, y es necesario una Cirugía Craneal o Embolización, lo más pronto posible a fin de sellar las arterias y venas evitando accidentes cerebro-vascular y daños mayores irreparables.After two (2) months they tell me that I should have a study, but for reasons of the world situation (the COVID-19 pandemic) it was carried out at the end of May, also motivated by severe headaches, confirming the doctor who is an AVM (Venous Arterial Malformation) classifiable as Spetzler Martin II, and Cranial Surgery or Embolization is required as soon as possible in order to seal the arteries and veins avoiding strokes and irreparable major damage.
No cuento con los recursos, por eso requiero de su ayuda. El seguro de salud que tengo no cubre realizar ningún procedimiento, debido a que la M.A.V. es una enfermedad pre-existente y congénita.I don't have the resources, that's why I require your help. The health insurance I have does not cover performing any procedure, because the M.A.V. it is a pre-existing and congenital disease.
Hemos buscado mil un maneras de poder lograr la cirugía, pero la situación tan crítica del país (Venezuela) es fuerte, todo es costoso. Con la ayuda de distintas personas me lograron hospitalizar en el mes de Febrero y realizarme los estudios. Por ese motivo solicito de su ayuda para poder operarme, ser madre es una bendición de Dios y el motivo para vivir, mi hijo me necesita y mi familia también. We have searched a thousand and one ways to achieve surgery, but the critical situation in the country (Venezuela) is strong, everything is expensive. With the help of different people they managed to hospitalize me in February and carry out my studies. For this reason I ask for your help to be able to operate, being a mother is a blessing from God and the reason to live, my son needs me and my family too.
