Back in July of 2012, my dad, Joe, was diagnosed with stage 4 squamous cell carcinoma of the tounge, throat, and lymph nodes. After rigorous chemotherapy and radiation treatments he was declared cancer free in January of 2013!
As of just about a month ago, we found out that Cancer wasn't quite done with my dad yet, and he was diagnosed with stage 4 squamous cell carcinoma but in several (about 7-9) areas. My father's cancer is terminal this time, and he will begin chemotherapy on May 8th, to hopefully slow the spread of the cancer.
As with any medical treatment, doctor's visits are expensive. I would love if I could show my dad that his support group extends beyond just our family. Any donation, even if it is $1 will help offset the costs of medical treatments and will help allow for our family to come together and spend as much time together as possible.
