Helping 2 boys who lost their dad
A 400 mile cycle for two boys who've lost their dad.
I'm cycling 400 miles from London to Hull and back, in memory of my friend Simon Burger (one of the nicest guys you'd ever hope to meet) and to raise money for Theo & Jude, his two young boys, and CALM (thecalmzone.net) a charity helping to prevent suicide in young men.
With the loss of their dad, Theo & Jude have also lost their future financial security, so I'm trying to raise £50 for every mile of the journey to help the family at this difficult time.
Anything you can contribute to help support Theo & Jude, and fund the work of CALM—to help other men in crisis—will make a great impact to the family and the lives of many others. Suicide is the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 and CALM are there to help all men who are down or in crisis.
The ride is planned for early September and I'm aiming to complete the ride in 4 days, riding 100 miles a day. I'm overweight, unfit and no big cyclist and this will be a big physical challenge for me, so I'll be training hard whilst organising the logistics and fundraising.

If you can please share this with as many people as possible that would be hugely appreciated.
All money raised will be split 50/50 between the family and the charity. CALM is a registered charity no 1110621.
