Established in 2019, Tokyo's French-English-Japanese School (EIFJ ) needs YOU in order to grow better, stronger, and fulfil its universal ambition!
Serving a diverse community of students from kindergarten through middle school, including an international nursery, with a total capacity of 150 students, it has been incepted by Fabien Levet and his French-American-Korean family, investnig its own funds and joined soon after by other families enrolling their children.
The goals :
- offer durably a more affordable and quality education in Tokyo, where international schools' tuition fees are increasing while average salaries of working parents do not;
- offer education all year round, to keep parents working if they need to;
- offer quality and hopefully accredited education in small sized classes, where the teacher-students' ratio is key for teachers and children's confort;
- offer students in-school subsidies aiming at supporting schooling for families having financial difficulties, and unable to receive local subsidies;
- offer parents a family sized campus, with a coworking space, accessible teachers, regular communication, a school bus network, and lots of family events aiming at bringing us, parents, together with our children, in a country, Japan, that we cherish and hope to help for its future and the one of our children.
As of 2024: At École Internationale Franco-Japonaise of Tokyo (EIFJ), we are committed to cultivating inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. Our official, comprehensive, and bilingual curriculum, rooted in the principles of excellence, fosters creative and ethical citizens who are empowered to think objectively, behave responsibly, and shape their own perspectives while respecting others.
Established in 2019, EIFJ serves a diverse community of students from kindergarten through middle school, including an international nursery, with a total capacity of 150 students. We are supported by AEFE towards accreditation, and have been issued a Certificate of Compliance from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, enabling Government subsidies. As a candidate for International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme* (PYP) accreditation, we align with the IB mission, working alongside schools, governments, and international organizations to develop challenging programs of international education and rigorous assessment.
EIFJ remains open during holidays, ensuring continuous education in classrooms with a favorable teacher-student ratio that promotes high-quality learning. Our team of certified educators offers a range of programs designed to nurture active, compassionate, and lifelong learners, in a nurturing and dynamic learning environment that supports the growth and development of every student.

Founded and developed by Fabien Levet and his family, 2020 and 2022 finalist of the French Abroad Trophies, Education category, it is hoped that this nursery, school and junior high school, welcoming their children, reflects universalism: generous, ambitious, emancipating and balanced. We wish to propose solutions to major educational, economic and social problems, to act, to help, to explain: the expectations of families, including their own, are numerous, and working for a better world, for a better education system in Tokyo and elsewhere, with parents, teachers and his team, is the greatest challenge of all.
