Tom and Drew's Adoption Journey

Our names are Tom and Drew De Jong, and we're raising money to help expand our family. In 2021 Drew was hit by a semi going highway speeds, and due to the extent of the injuries she sustained she is no longer able to carry her own children.

We live in the Sioux Falls, SD area, and Drew works in healthcare while Tom works in the automotive field. We've been working on raising money and have a good head start, but the average adoption is upwards of $60,000 and we are very eager to start our family.

We are holding a rummage sale during the Kingswood Rummage Days, as well as selling homemade sourdough bread, hanging kitchen towels, and crocheted items. If you would be interested in any of the above items or donating directly to the family instead of through Go Fund Me, feel free to contact us.

We both come from large families, with Tom having 4 siblings and Drew having 5. We both also have experience with adoption, as we have multiple adopted family members.
