Let's help Tom and Theresa

We have known Tom and Theresa forever. Though they are quiet, private people those close to them know them as the humble, hardworking , kind and generous people they are. They have raised two beautiful and successful daughters and have been hoping to enjoy retirement together. Theresa has worked full time as a nurse for many years but was suddenly laid off in January just shy of her 65th birthday.  Tom has been working and volunteering in a variety of positions for many years since leaving Frito-Lay.  A few weeks ago after Tom complained of some chest pain Theresa took him to the Emergency Room. It was soon discovered that he had blockages in his arteries and would need triple bypass surgery. The surgery was performed on Friday August 14th.  He was released from the hospital on Tuesday August 18th. He has since been taken back to the hospital several times to treat an irregular heartbeat. This is a setback; but not unheard of with this kind of surgery and Tom and Theresa are hopeful for a full recovery. Because Tom is unable to return to his part time job and Theresa needs to be home to care for him they are in need of some financial assistance. We are hoping to help them get through these next 3 months without having to worry about the bills and just focus on Tom's recovery.
