Tom and Vicki Ewald

Tom And Vicki Ewald are facing some things that we should never have to face. Tom just had a major surgery, mesenteric artery bypass. He has chronic mesenteric ischemia. On top of that he has dealt with MS for many years, has had 6 hip replacements , open heart surgery and several spinal fusions.

Vicki has been by Tom’s side every step of the way. She has been making  600 mile trips back and forth to be with Tom through this. She occasionally stayed right with him in his room but they moved him to ICU and she wasn’t allowed to be in there with him so she needed to stay in a hotel multiple nights. That in itself is costly but on top of that cost they have to pay hundreds a day in copay and if that wasn’t enough they have a heavy deductible. I’m not sure how they expect anyone to pay all of this on a fixed income.

They have been at the hospital since August 12th and the doctors say it will be a few more weeks before they will consider letting Tom go home. Along with prayer I am asking that anybody who has it in their heart to donate to please do so. Thank you and God blessings please share .
