Tom Bagley Memorial Fund
Donation protected
As many know, Tom Bagley was among the victims of the horrible tragedy that took place in Nova Scotia over April 18th and 19th.
I did not personally know Tom. I unfortunately did not get the pleasure, as life's responsibilities got in the way when I received invitations to do so.
I knew of Tom through his close connection and friendship with Sean McLeod and Alanna Jenkins who were also victims.
Sean and I were co-workers and close friends.
Sean always spoke highly of Tom and his willingness to share himself to anyone who needed help.
Being a member of the Nova Scotia first responders community myself, every loss of a "brother" or "sister" is heartbreaking.
He was a Canadian Armed Forces veteran serving in the Navy, a retired military and airport firefighter and what I would call a hero in every way.
A husband, father and grandfather.
On that tragic day it is believed that he was responding to the fire at his friends and neighbors home. He was going to help, as Sean told me was his way, through the many wonderful stories he shared with me about him.
This fund will go directly and in full to his family members in order to help provide financial support during this tragedy and to create a trust for his grandchildren.
I have his daughter set up as the beneficiary and therefore the sole person who can withdraw funds from this campaign.
