Tom broke both his arms WTF

Tom, our friend and co-worker, has broken both his arms.  Yes, you read that correctly, BOTH arms.  The radial head to be exact. Look it up - it sucks!  Serving in NYC is challenging for people with 2 arms that work properly so, suffice it to say, that serving with 0 functioning arms is impossible. 

Sadly, Tom is also without health insurance as many of us in the hospitality industry are.  After today's visit to the ortho doctor, he has learned that he will be out of work for 6 weeks and 100% recovery can take up to 12.  His medical expenses + physical therapy + having no income for 6 weeks is something unimaginable for most people, especially those living in New York City.  I can't imagine the physical pain he must be in so if all of us, our friends, and past and present colleagues can help lessen his financial and emotional stress by donating let's do it. 

Every single person who has ever been a part of this industry can sympathize with Tom's predicament.  We at Il Buco Alimentari and Vineria look out for one another like family and Tom has been an exceedingly solid member of the team for years.  I am confident that we can raise some money to assist him in his time of need.  Break out those wallets!!!
