Tom Ford and Kate Watkin’s flood assistance

Hi, my name is Carolyn, I am Tom Ford and Kate Watkin’s cousin. Today, Tom Morris and myself went to their house to help clean up after the flood, and help with repairs. We were devastated, looking at all the destruction last week’s historic rainfall had on their house, and neighborhood, in University City, from the River Des Peres. Tom and Kate lost both of their cars, everything in the basement (including most of Tom’s clothes), and most things on the 1st floor. Insurance will cover structural damage, but not the other things, such as the refrigerator (which was floating upside down during the flood), washer (a new, really cool one!), dryer, furniture-both inside the house and in the yard. Also, only some of the clean up is covered. Tom and Kate need our help! I can say 1st hand, that this is an overwhelming clean up and repair.
