Tom Gleason Memorial Music Scholarship

 

Tommy Gleason, a 1979 graduate of Point Beach High School, dedicated his life to his greatest passion, songwriting and music production. From the early age of 5, when he sat down and played his first set of drums, through fifty-five more years playing his beloved keyboards, Tommy’s gift of songwriting and musical arrangement was incredibly inspiring and exceptionally talented. He used songwriting as his gift to others, to celebrate special moments, weddings, birthdays, tributes, and even as a gift of comfort during the loss of a loved one. To know Tommy was to know unconditional love, unlimited generosity, and true presence. His legacy will be carried on through the Tom Gleason Memorial Music Scholarship fund, which will honor annually a graduating senior from the Point Pleasant Beach and Point Pleasant Borough High School communities who are pursuing a career in music.
