On Sunday 2nd of September we tragically lost our dear friend, work colleague and mentor Tom Lutton.
Tom was a rare breed, and had so many great qualities that endeared him to many people. He was brilliant, intelligent, funny and caring; with an infectious smile, wicked sense of humour and that unique (Tom) laugh which brightened many a day. Tom was larger than life; one of the most passionate, kind and helpful people who was always positive and optimistic. He was incredibly popular and respected. When Tom spoke, people listened.
Tom was the ultimate ‘enabler’. He provided support and advice to many, always putting others first before himself. There was never a problem too big for him. Whenever we were struggling with something, he would often just say, ‘leave it with me,’ and next thing you know it was sorted. That was the “Tom Factor” in action - he made the impossible possible.
Sadly he leaves behind three young daughters – Molly, Lucy and Peggy. The girls were the apple of Tom’s eye: he loved them dearly and like any parent wanted the best for their futures. Help us honour Tom through raising funds for his girls’ ongoing education to help ensure they live the lives Tom wanted.
Tom, we will miss you dearly. Our world will not be the same again. You shone such a bright light on our lives and we treasure the memories. Rest in Peace.
