My goal is to reach $6,000 to collect for the record pressing of 200 vinyl records. The cost will be $30 per person. This will include and cover all shipping costs to you all, and you will get a limited edition marble splattered vinyl record with some fun things on the inside! Think of this as more of a preorder for the Record than anything. If you want to support the cause and donate a lower amount you are more then welcome too! 

The Story:
As most of you all know, I have been playing music for a long time now. I have been in several bands over the years and gig regularly around the Chicagoland area with my band Matt Zach and Tom.

 

But what most don't realize is that I am an avid songwriter and have been since 2010. I have written over 100 songs the past decade and finally decided it's time to get them recorded and out to the masses! So over the past two years or so, my good bubby Kevin Matela taught me how to use protools and off to the races I went.

 

On this first album, you will hear inspiration drawn from all over the musical map. I am very fond of classic rock, folk, and blues, so my music tends to roll into those genres. I think the album ebbs and flows nicely around these genres with heavy-hitting songs, catchy tunes, and some beautiful instrumentals in the mix. The songs' themes vary from Love, Addiction, self-doubt, mental health, the battle versus good and evil, and so much more. I love to write through the eyes of others, and I hope you enjoy the stories I tell through my lyrics and songs.

Music has always been an essential aspect of my life, I believe it is the universal language of the world. It brings people from all walks of life together to forget about all the bullshit for a while. My parents always supported my musical journey I am thankful for it. When I started taking piano lessons in 5th grade and going to recitals, my parents said it kept me out of trouble, even if it was just for a little while. Then in middle school, my dad bought me a drum set. When everyone asked, why would you get him the loudest instrument out there, he replied. "What else do you get a kid with ADD? Now he has options to bang on multiple things." As I carried through high school, my ears perked up to all that classic rock and blues offered; once I turned 18, I picked up a guitar and learned the basics. The rest fell into place after that.

 

Music heals you, comforts you, and creates memories with you. Don't overthink it, just enjoy it.
