Tomb Stones

Hi my name is Nadia Maani I’m the oldest sister of Ilham and Sauda Maani, who both passed away. Sauda passed away 8/29/2019 and a year later my family lost Ilham and her unborn son 11/24/2020. We struggled to cover their funeral cost. A go fund me page was made for Ilham and Abdi Malik (unborn son). A considerable amount was raised & the family and I covered the rest. We couldn’t thank all of you enough for your contribution at that time. However, Since both sisters & Abdi passed away so unexpectedly, it’s hard for us to cover the cost of headstones. My little sisters were both beautiful strong women and great mothers that left behind their beautiful daughters Jannah and Za’nyah.

I want to get my sisters headstone to make it easy for loved ones & friends to find their graves when they go visit them.

Before Ilham passed away she got Sauda a temporary grave marker with her name & dates on it. This way we knew where she was resting. Unfortunately, the cemetery caretaker constantly takes down any temporary markers we put up.

Ilham & I promised to save as much money as possible, with the intention of getting Sauda a headstone. Though we lost Ilham, I’d love to keep our promise alive. With the help of everyone who knew them. Everyone who was able to share a laugh with Ilham, listening to one of her goofy stories or watching Sauda’s face light up when she cracked a smile. We can make it happened. Im asking people to donate what they can, I understand that times are tuff right now. After paying attorney fees to retain custody of my nieces, it’s been very hard, both emotionally and financially on our family. Your contribution would mean the world to my family.
