Tommy Meo Jr. Spirit of Life Walkathon 2021
What a year it has been! In a world filled with extreme uncertainty, there is one thing that I am certain of - WE WILL NEVER STOP REMEMBERING YOU! Given the current circumstances, we were not able to host our 2020 Spirit of Life Walkathon. We are now determined to make this year's that much greater! And we would love nothing more than to have all of our family, friends, neighbors, and new followers join us at this year's walkathon to help make that happen! This year the event is set to take place on September, 18, 2021!
The Spirit of Life Organization was started in memory of our brother, Tommy Meo Jr., who was tragically taken from us in an accident at age 12 in September 2000.
Tommy was a young boy, a neighborhood kid, known by many, loved by all. His personality was magnetic, everyone loved being around him. At a young age with his skating abilities, Tommy himself volunteered at an event where he helped disabled children enjoy a day on the rink by pulling them around on sleds. His heart, especially for such a young boy, was so genuine. We decided to take this negative experience and make some positive out of it. We believe the world needs more people like him and so we have created this organization to continue to introduce people to our loving Tommy. To introduce them to good deeds, and helping hands, at any age!
Some of our rewarding past experiences include working with Sunshine on a Ranney Day, Sunrise Day Camp, Dream Factory and MercyFirst. In addition, we also offer scholarship funds. These are just a few of the many ways we have helped others and we are always looking for new ways to honor Tommy. Our goal is to enrich our community in ways that would make Tommy so proud!
We understand that you have many options when choosing an organization to donate to, and we are so honored that you have chosen ours! Every donation, no matter the amount, helps to make a difference.
XOXO,
The Meo Family
