Tommy (Thomas) Holloway

Hi my name is Suzanne. I am Tommy and Kristen's sister-in-law. Hi, I'm Jenise, Kristen's best friend and sister-by-choice.

We lost Tommy on Thursday, 10-26-2023, while he was driving home from Polk State College, where he was the Coordinator of Clinical Education. Tommy loved his career working with the students and staff and thought of his Polk State colleagues as family. Tommy began his career as a nurse at Lakeland Regional Health, where he was was bedside in the mental health unit for over 20 years.

Tommy was a devoted husband to Kristen. They just celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary a few days prior to the accident. Kristen and Tommy were inseparable and loved spending time together, whether it was hanging out, trying new restaurants, or volunteering time with the band and theater department at Plant City High School where Kristen teaches.

Tommy's pride and joy was his daughter, Kaitlyn. Those 2 were 2 peas in a pod and there was never a dull moment when you are around them. Kaitlyn enjoyed her Daddy-daughter time as she would ride with Tommy to Polk State, where she is currently a student. Kaitlyn is an amazing young lady because her parents.

Just like many of us, the Holloway family was not financially prepared for this unexpected and tragic event.
