Tom’s bucket list

Tom is an amazing man who is loved by many & has always been there for his family, friends & his community. Unfortunately now he suffers with an illness called Progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) is a rare neurological condition that can cause problems with balance, movement, vision, speech and swallowing. It's caused by increasing numbers of brain cells becoming damaged over time. The PSP Association estimates there are around 4,000 people with PSP living in the UK. The life expectancy is around 6-8 years & Tom was diagnosed nearly 4 years ago. His symptoms are not getting any better but progressing very fast meaning we are sadly running out of time. we are now raising money to try and get Tom to Serbia for stem cell treatment that will pro long his life and stability for around 8 more years. That means 8 more years of memories, 8 more years of time with his family & 8 more years to live his life to the fullest as he truly deserves.
Unfortunately Tom can now not undertake the stem cell treatment so all funds will go towards a party to celebrate his life and a bucket list of things he would like to do with his family
The JJeffect team & public will walk the full 3 peak challenge over 12 hours to support this amazing project and we hope as always the the community of Preston will once again come together to help us achieve our goals
