Tona Harmon Medical Recovery Expenses

Many of you know our mom, Tona Harmon, and that she is a pretty tough lady. She is now facing a hard battle with her health. Last week my sister found her at her home in really bad shape. Long story short, once she was hospitalized we learned that her blood sugar levels were close to 500, she was dehydrated, had a bad kidney infection and Covid. She spent a few days in Wytheville Community Hospital were we learned that she had sepsis as well and one of her kidneys was gangrenous and needed immediate attention. This all caused her to be moved to Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC where she is now. She has had a stint placed so far and looking at more procedures coming up. We are unsure of what is to come in her future but she has been told to expect to be here for around six weeks. All of that could change anytime. She will have a lot of medical expenses and of course living expenses to face and she does not have any supplemental insurances such as AFLAC etc. If you would like to donate to help her cover her expenses and do not want to use this platform feel free to contact us, either by private messages or phone.
