Feeding The Kids In Tondo Manila
Donation protected
Kilos Bayanihan + Miss Scuba Philippines = Making a difference for the children and the oceans.
The Miss Scuba Philippines national pageant is not only about beauty, but more importantly about our oceans. They are passionate about marine conservation and are also committed to making an impact in their communities and society.
Our team will be collaborating with the Miss Scuba Philippines 2017 national pageant to do a feeding and gift giving for the children living in Tondo Manila this coming August.
Tondo Manila is one of the most densely populated and poorest areas in Manila and when you live in one of these areas, there's no guarantee that you will be able eat on any given day. Any outside assistance would definitely provide a lifeline for the children and their families.
We will be providing a feeding and distributing a small bag of groceries to some 200 children that call Tondo Manila their home. All of the kids will receive one hot meal with juice and a bag of groceries that will include the following; Rice, sardines, noodles, corned beef, vinegar, soy sauce, milk, shampoo, toothpaste and soap. The MSP team will also be teaching the kids about how they can help protect and preserve our oceans.
No donation is too small and every dollar really does go a long way in helping the children. Poverty is not a lack of character. It's a lack of money and opportunity. It's when society turns its back on you and makes you invisible. Let's not turn our back on these kids.
To all of our friends and supporters in the Philippines that would like to donate for this project but don't have a credit card; you can deposit funds to a special savings account that we have setup just for you.
