Tonga Assistance and Rebuilding Fund

As everyone has heard by now, the small island Kingdom of Tonga was ravished by a violent volcanic eruption and subsequent tsunami that occurred 40 miles north of the main island. The devastation from the tsunami was compounded by the immense volcanic ash that then blanketed the country, making it extremely difficult for emergency relief to reach the residents and assess the damage. Thankfully, relief efforts by several foreign governments are now underway. However, the coordination and execution of these efforts are complex and challenging as they try to do so without introducing the virus to the nation, which had been COVID-free except for one case late last year. Needless to say, the process is going extremely slow, and basic human needs such as food and water are what is needed most at this time.
Looking ahead, Pasefika Souls Inc is raising funds to follow up the current relief efforts with the supplies needed for daily living and beyond as many survivors lost everything, including their homes and all their belongings. It will take a long time and a cumulative effort from everyone in Tonga and abroad. Tonga was nicknamed "the friendly islands" long ago, but they are also very resilient. Any donation will go a long way and make a big difference in someone's life. As a 501c non-profit, Pasefika Souls will gladly provide a receipt, and you can obtain sending us a message.
