Remembering the Life of Tony "Big Tony" Diggs

Please join us in celebrating the life of Tony "Big Tony" Diggs who was a loving friend, brother, father, and grandfather. His joyous spirit, charm, and humor made him beloved to his many friends and family members. Big Tony served our country in the US Navy and also served our community as a mail carrier for the United States Post Office where he retired. His legend will continue to live on at the Rogers Park and Fort Dearborn post offices in Chicago.

We anticipate the visitation will be this Thursday evening, June 27th and the funeral will be Friday morning, June 28th but we are still awaiting information on his death benefits so nothing is confirmed.

Big Tony will be buried as a veteran with honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Joliet on Friday at 1:30 pm.
