TONY DOLES “CHICK-INN” SAFE HAVEN FARM

Hi, my name is Lisa, I’ve started this fundraiser for Tony Doles “Chick-Inn” Farm in Summerfield, NC.

Tony bought his farm about three years ago to give a bigger home to his chicken & then began rescuing roosters and has over 50! Now if you know roosters, 50?!? He might be the worlds only rooster whisperer

His first large rescue was a pot belly pig and then goats and then donkeys, and then ducklings, with a variety of over 150 mixed poultry.

Tony has fostered countless rescues and re-homed and had adopted out.

Just last week Tony had shared a post about two senior bonded goats that needed a home, the owner could no longer care for them and they were looking for a home. Not two comments into the post did someone ask where they were that Tony said, I’ve already got Emily & Susan at the “Chick-Inn”. That’s the kind of heart he has!

Tonys day starts at about 7 am to feed all his farm babies and travels from Greensboro to Summerfield several times a day to tend to them AND work all in the same day, 7 days a week!

One of the most admirable things I love about Tony is, he never once has asked for anything, zero! When he rescued ducklings, I got a little pond for them to swim in and he was so grateful the ducklings were going to be swimming!

Tony does all these unnoticed great deeds and all at his own expense.

Just this past year, during a pandemic when his business suffered so much loss, Tony spent well into $15,000 on feed, repairing fencing, vet bills, etc.

He purchased another 3 acres to be able to accommodate more animals that he can help both find a home or live their senior years on his safe refuge called the “Chick-Inn”

This purchase has led to more expenditures,

like fencing, multiple shelters, added pastures, these animals need protection from raccoons, coyotes, fox, and some have spotted black bears!

Let’s all dig deep to help Tony Doles continue his selfless efforts to save so many defenseless animals, let’s help a man who never asks for help, who works tirelessly to do all that he does by himself.

I am graciously asking on behalf of Tony and all his farm babies for help.

I have a goal of $10,000, which will hopefully cover the additional shelters, fencing and feed, just for the year, I would love to exceed that, because I’ve heard Tony still wears clothes from the 90’s! (NOT THAT THERE’S ANYTHING WRONG WITH THAT)

Light this up people, the world needs more Tonys, animals need more Tonys, let’s help the Tony we have right here in Greensboro, NC!
